Toy Story Land Early Morning Magic

Toy Story Land Early Morning Magic

Toy Story Land Early Morning magic is an incredible way to experience all of the brand new Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios with little to no wait…but it comes at a price! I’m excited to share our experience as well whether we thought it was worth the the price!

Early Morning Magic is currently offered in Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom (our review on that one coming soon) on select dates. These are currently not being offered 6 months in advance but typically only a few months, which can make creating your schedule a bit tricky!

While Toy Story Land Early Morning Magic is typically scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m., our reservation listed 7:00 a.m. Due to a late bus the day prior, we opted to play it safe and take a Minnie Van instead. While this is more costly than using Uber or Lyft, I was traveling by myself with a 4 year old and I wanted the peace of mind of a safe trip with a properly installed car seat.

Be sure to leave yourself 60-90 minutes to make it on time! Check your app for the next schedule bus or drive to the parks (via your own car or via Uber, Lyft or Minnie Van).

We arrived at approximately 7:10 a.m. and the park was pretty empty! We quickly got through security, scanned our band and picked up our Early Morning Magic wristband.

Just mere seconds after entering the park the announcement was made that Andy’s Backyard was open!! We were so excited! There were MANY cast members guiding us back through the park. I know we were early but we honestly didn’t see many more people than this all morning!

Slinky Dog was our first stop…and we literally walked right on! We spent the next hour riding Toy Story Mania twice…

Alien Swirling Saucers once…and Slinky Dog FIVE TIMES!! Take a look below to see how empty it was!

My daughter is a big thrill seeker and opted to skip the characters but Buzz, Woody and Jessie were all on hand for autographs and pictures!

Breakfast is included with Early Morning Magic and takes place in the ABC Commissary but we missed it as we headed for more rides when the park opened at 9 a.m. As we exited the land, they had already let people in line for Slinky Dog. By 8:55 a.m. it was a 65 minute wait!

Early Morning Magic currently costs $79 per adult and $69 per child, plus tax. While I do think it was worth the price, if I had to pick ONE event, I would pick Early Morning Magic at Magic Kingdom as there are more rides included and we covered more ground. If you have limited time and want to ensure you see all of Toy Story Land with little wait, I would HIGHLY recommend this!

Kevin From Up is coming to Animal Kingdom

Kevin From Up is coming to Animal Kingdom

IKevin from Disney•Pixar's "Up" at Disney's Animal Kingdom park

I’m so excited about Disney’s most recent announcement!

Greetings, fellow Wilderness Explorers. I’m writing with news from a recent expedition to South America. We’ve been tracking the large and exotic bird known as “Kevin” – you might remember her from the Disney•Pixar film “Up!” – and she appears to be migrating north from Paradise Falls, headed in the direction of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Kevin scheduled to start appearing sometime next month…stay tuned for photos! We’ll definitely keep our eyes peeled for her!!
