Day 4 started out with another beautiful, sunny day in Bermuda! We had no real plans for our 2nd day in port and we started out with a leisurely breakfast before disembarking.
The town is just absolutely gorgeous and while it was windy, the sun was shining and the temps were perfect! Our plan was just to wander around and check out the touristy gift shops!
We spent some time in a few shops, picked up a Bermuda Rum Cake and just spent time together as a family. Before heading back to the ship we decided to try out some local ice cream we spotted earlier that morning!
The ice cream was absolutely incredible and I highly recommend stopping by to grab some!! It was creamy and they had the most delicious flavors!
It was time to head back to the ship to grab lunch (Dessert first) and some RnR!!
Did I mention how windy it was?
We decided to head to Lumiere’s for lunch with some really incredible views of the gorgeous blue water!!
After lunch our youngest headed to the kid’s club’s while two of the adults headed to nap. That meant it was time to go on a character hunt! Our first stop was to meet Goofy! We hit the up button on the elevator and waited…when the doors opened….
My daughter was so excited and nervous she immediately backed out before I said, NO get in!! She rode all the way up to the pool deck by herself with Goofy!
While we were upstairs I couldn’t help but take a few photos of the amazing views. Have I mentioned how BLUE the water is?
Today’s departure time was pretty early (around 3:30 p.m.) so the ship was starting to get a little busy. We wanted to get a better view of the ship leaving port so down to deck 4 we went! Much to our surprise, we had another surprise character encounter!
After a quick picture, my daughter showed of her Duck talking skills to Donald! He thought it was great!
The characters were just everywhere! Do you spy Pluto!?
It was time to leave Bermuda and we were definitely sad!
The ship was definitely busier!! 
A few more character meet and greet’s before we rounded up the family for Pirate Night!
We met a few more characters before feeding the kids…tonight was our adult only dinner at Palo!
Palo is an experience that we partake in every cruise we take. The food is delicious and the service outstanding. We were heading back to NY in some pretty rough seas though and the ship was really rocking!! It didn’t take away from our amazing meal!
I won’t lie…I get practically the same thing EVERY time. Your meal starts out with an antipasto plate! It includes Prosciutto, Bresaola,Parmesan Reggiano,Marinated olives and sun-dried Tomatoes served with Palo’s Famous Dips and olive oil.
For appetizer’s my husband got the Fritto di Calamari e Gamberi. It was Deep-fried Shrimp and Calamari with Lemon-Garlic Mayonnaise and Marinara dippings.
I usually get the caprese but this time tried Gnocchi and it was amazing!
A light palate cleanser!
Finally it was time for my favorite…mushroom risotto and prime beef tenderloin with Gorgonzola sauce. TO DIE FOR!!! I was getting seriously full but the great thing about Palo is the ability to take your time and really enjoy your food!
For dessert, my husband opted for something light and tried the Panna Cotta.
For me it was a 2nd glass of Prosecco and a Palo classic…Chocolate Souffle with Vanilla Bean and chocolate sauce!!
After dinner we headed back to the room to get the kiddo’s for some Pirate night fun up on deck! Some pirate’s didn’t make it as late as other’s….
The girls had a great time dancing and singing along and really enjoyed the fireworks at sea! It was a long day but a really great and relaxing one! We had just one day left which would be sent on some very rocky seas!
