Jamaica is the classic Sandals experience with 6 resorts to choose from. Lively, music-filled, genuinely warm culture, and the most variety of resort styles. Great for first-time Sandals guests or couples who want options.
Saint Lucia is the most dramatic and picturesque. The Pitons, the lush rainforest, volcanic beaches. If you want HONEYMOON PHOTOS, St. Lucia delivers. This is where we send couples who want “wow factor” from the moment they arrive.
Antigua is quieter, elegant, and boasts 365 beaches (one for every day of the year!). Sandals Grande Antigua is one of the most iconic Sandals resorts and sits on what is often called one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.
Barbados is refined, sophisticated, and British-influenced. Sandals Royal Barbados is modern and upscale, perfect for couples who want a more polished vibe.

Quiet and intimate couples will prefer the smaller, more romantic properties. Sandals Regency La Toc in St. Lucia is tucked into its own private bay. Sandals LaSource Grenada feels like a hidden gem. Sandals Ochi Beach Resort in Jamaica has a boutique-cottage feel despite being large.

Butler Level rooms are an absolute game-changer for honeymoons! You get your own personal butler (literally) who unpacks your bags, draws your bath, sets up private beach dinners, runs to get you anything you need, and generally treats you like royalty for your entire trip. For a honeymoon, we almost ALWAYS suggest upgrading to Butler. It transforms the experience.
Over-the-Water Bungalows and Villas are the ultimate honeymoon splurge! Available at Sandals Royal Caribbean (Jamaica), Sandals South Coast (Jamaica), Sandals Grande St. Lucian (St. Lucia), and Sandals Royal Curacao. These are suspended over the water with glass floor panels, private plunge pools, outdoor showers, and direct water access. They are honeymoon bucket-list level!
Rondoval Suites are unique round-shaped private villas with their own pools. Available at Sandals Ochi, they are gorgeous for couples who want complete privacy.

Flight connections. Some Sandals islands are easier to reach than others from your home airport. Bahamas is the quickest for East Coast couples. Jamaica has tons of nonstop options. St. Lucia and Grenada often require connections but are WORTH it for the scenery!
Hurricane season. The Caribbean hurricane season runs June through November, with peak risk late August through October. If you are planning a fall honeymoon, we always recommend travel insurance! Length of stay. For a honeymoon, we recommend 6 to 7 nights minimum. You need at least one full “recover from the wedding” day, a few days to actually enjoy the resort, and time to explore your island.
