Love it – Tower of Terror. I have loved this attraction since I went on it the first time in the 90s. When I went the first time, it was a straight up-and-down drop. Now that the drops are randomized, it is a new and exciting experience each time. Having a vintage theme also gives it a classic feel, which doesn’t seem outdated like some other attractions suffer from.
Hate it – Star Tours. This ride makes me queasy each and every time. Since there is now an entire land dedicated to Star Wars, I really feel like this ride just doesn’t belong where it is and with the 2 other Star Wars attractions that are much more immersive, I think this ride could just go away. I think the short wait times that are now seen here are proof that a lot of people agree with me.
Update it – Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. Unlike Tower of Terror’s theming, this ride shows its age badly. Aerosmith isn’t what they once were, and a lot of the people going on this ride probably don’t even know who they are. I don’t hate the coaster itself, although it is a somewhat rough ride, it is a lot of fun. I just think they could find a new theme, Goofy Movie/Powerline anyone?
