If you have a little girl or boy who is super into princesses you probably know all about dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table. That reservation is a difficult one to get and it takes 2 of your table service credits. A much better deal, with more princesses, is Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot at the Norway pavilion!

Akershus (Prononunced ä’kur-shOOs) is a very popular dining spot if you are on the hunt for Disney Princesses! When you are brought in for your reservation, you will have the chance to meet Belle in her yellow ball gown! There will be a photopass photographer there, which makes that MemoryMaker even more important!

The last time we went, we went for breakfast. As soon as we were sat, we were told we could head to the buffet. At the buffet, you will find a nice selection of small bites, but don’t fill up here, there is more food headed your way served family style! Back to the buffet, there was salami, mini bagels, salmon, different types of pastries, fresh fruit, and a selection of cheeses. As parents, we loved this, because it meant the little could start munching right away instead of waiting to order. They all got their fill on the buffet, which meant no one got hangry (hungry and angry) and impatient.

The actual breakfast fare is pretty simple. You will get scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes (which were amazing). You can ask for more of anything that is brought out to you, but between the buffet and breakfast foods, we didn’t need anymore.

But, let’s be honest, the food isn’t necessarily why you are coming here. I promised you Princesses and by golly you will find them here. On our day, on top of meeting Belle, there was also Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, and Aurora! It should be noted that princesses are subject to change. Not only did each of the Princesses come to the table individually, but there was a princess parade led around the restaurant. During this parade children are welcome to join in as they take a stroll around the restaurant with a princess waving to all the admiring fans (parents). To top off this experience we had visited Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique the day before, so the girls were still in full princess mode.

I think breakfast here is great for everyone. The food is good, and familiar which means everyone will find something they will like. And the interaction with a good number of princesses is worth the price. And since this dining location will only take 1 table service, it is a great use of that credit if seeing princesses is a high priority! These reservations do go quickly, so be sure to let your Living with the Magic travel agent if this is on your list!
