Options include Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, Disney’s All-Star Music Resort, Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Art of Animation is especially popular with families with young children — the oversized family suites sleep up to 6 and the rooms are designed around beloved Disney and Pixar stories.

Moderate Resorts — The Sweet Spot

Moderate resorts offer a step up in theming and amenities without jumping to deluxe pricing. They tend to have larger pool areas, table service dining options, and more spacious rooms. Our favorites for families include Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside and Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter.
