Wizards, Witches, and Muggles unite! Where can you all come together in one place? The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Our family has some huge Harry Potter fans and we loved watching them enjoy every moment of it. We started in Diagon Alley where the story begins during Early Park Admission. Crowds were low during that time so we were able to ride Escape from Gringotts with no wait. We also explored all the shops and alleys while crowds were low. My son was loving every single moment! It was like watching a ping pong ball bounce around. It was a totally immersive experience, feeling like i was actually in the movies. After exploring a bit, we went to Olivander’s in Diagon Alley to watch the wand choosing ceremony. My son was chosen to be part of the show. He was given a few different wands before the right wand chose him.
Unfortunately, that day the train was not running so we walked over to Islands of Adventure. Once we walked into Hogsmeade, we explored the shops and wand magic spots for the newly purchased wands. We ate lunch at Three Broomsticks and it was amazing! Because of my allergies, I had emailed with a chef ahead of time so I was able to eat with my family. The meal was so delicious. After some more time exploring Hogsmeade, we rode forbidden Journey in Hogwarts Castle, Flight of the Hippogriff and Hagrid’s Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure. My favorite ride was Hagrid’s. The rollercoaster was amazing! It was a little bit like Expedition Everest when it went backward but most of the ride was completely new and never experienced anything like it before!
We loved our time in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It was a fun place for us all to enjoy! The wizard, witch and muggles all enjoyed it and hope to be back soon! If you have a Harry Potter fan in your life, make the time to go! You will not regret it!!
