Our Story
At Living With The Magic Vacations, we believe in the magic of travel—but Girls’ Getaway Weekend is where it all began.
Back in 2016, a group of busy moms (including us!) needed a break—from laundry, carpool, and the daily grind. We craved laughter, connection, and a little pixie dust… so we planned a weekend at Walt Disney World, just for us.
The moment we stepped onto Main Street, U.S.A., everything changed. We weren’t just moms—we were adventurers, princesses, dreamers. That one magical weekend turned into a beloved annual tradition filled with fun, freedom, and friendship.
Now, nearly a decade later, Girls’ Getaway Weekend is bigger than ever—and we’re thrilled to welcome more amazing women into the magic each year. Because sometimes, the best way to reconnect with who you are… is to step into the happiest place on earth.

This was an amazing trip, I love how there were things planned but also the freedom to do other things of our choice as well. Loved that it was an all girl trip and how relaxing it was. Enjoyed that were little events just for our group, made the trip just that more special. Thank you so much for planning this and taking the chance on an girl’s weekend event. Arrive, settle in, and get ready to kick things off at our Hollywood Studios Welcome Meet-Up! We’ll laugh, snap some pics, and toast to the weekend ahead.
Friday, August 15
World Travelers… With a Twist
Grab your besties and your best ears—it’s time to go Drinking and Snacking Around the World at EPCOT! Whether you sip, snack, or both, you’re in for an international girls’ day out.
Saturday, August 16
Castle Dreams & Sweet Treats
It’s a full day of magic at Magic Kingdom! We’ll wrap up the night by attending the Happily Ever After Dessert Party—sparkling views, sweet bites, and unforgettable memories under the fireworks.
Sunday, August 17
Sip, Safari, and Sunset Vibes
Start your day with a flavorful Sangria Tasting at Coronado Springs, then head to Animal Kingdom after dark. We’ll take over Kilimanjaro Safari and finish the night with cocktails and conversation at Nomad Lounge.
Monday, August 18
Farewell for Now
Before we say goodbye, join us for a Character Breakfast Meet-Up! Hugs, Mickey waffles, and one last dose of Disney magic before heading home.

Do I have to stay at a specific resort?
Nope! You’re free to stay wherever you’d like. We’ve recommended a few favorites, but we’ll help you choose the best option based on your preferences and budget.
Can I come solo?
Absolutely! Many of our guests come solo and leave with lifelong friends. We’ll help you feel right at home.
What’s included in the package?
We customize each package to your needs, but most include resort accommodations, park tickets, memory-making meetups, and special event access. Just reach out for personalized pricing!
Is this an official Disney event?
No, this is an exclusive event created and hosted by Living With The Magic Vacations—but we bring all the Disney magic (and then some)!

This was my first time attending the Girls Getaway Weekend and the experience was more fun that I could have ever imagined. The trip was a blast from beginning to end… mimosa breakfast, Hoop Dee Doo Revue, private Soarin ride, afternoon tea…what more could a kid-free, husband-free mom want!?!? The planning and booking was stress free, thanks to the awesome travel agents at Living With the Magic Vacations. It was awesome only having to worry about when we were eating next and getting to our fastpasses on time! I met a group of amazing women that I now call friends and made so many unforgettable memories! I felt like a true “princess” the entire weekend!!
