MY STORY
Hi, I’m Amanda! My love of Disney did not start with a vacation, it started with a deep fascination for the man behind the magic. I was so captivated by Walt Disney’s story that I wrote my senior thesis on him in high school, and from that moment I knew working for Disney was not just a dream, it was a plan!
As soon as I could apply to the Disney College Program I did, completing two semesters in 1999 and 2000. After coming home I managed a Disney Store and landed my first big girl job at AAA where my love of travel really took root. Life took me through several chapters after that, eventually landing me in a corporate role I was good at but never truly loved.
So I made a change! I became a travel advisor to reconnect with the magic of Disney and the joy of helping families travel, and it felt like coming home. My husband Eric and I were even married at Walt Disney World, so Disney has always been woven into our family story!
After five years working at an agency where I never felt truly supported as a new advisor, I knew there had to be a better way. In 2015 I founded Living With The Magic Vacations to build exactly the kind of agency I wished I had, one where advisors are set up to succeed and clients never have to figure it out alone.
Today I am so proud to lead a team of over 25 incredible travel advisors who have earned recognition as Travel Leaders Network President’s Circle members, Disney Earmarked status, and Preferred partnerships with the top suppliers in the industry. I am a Certified Autism Travel Professional and I truly believe that the best things in life are not things at all. They are memories!

First family trip
We just returned from our first family Disney/Universal trip and we had the most magical time! We are so thankful for Amanda and all of her help. Impromptu Disney World vacation
