I’m Debbie Marcelli

Growing up as one of four children of an airline pilot, I have travelled my entire life. While my first trips were by car to visit family, my love for travel really began in high school and college when I took two lengthy trips to Europe. I live in Ellicott City, Maryland, retired in 2021, went back to work part-time for 3 years, and am now beginning a new chapter in my life by utilizing my travel experience to help others enjoy travel as much as I do.

While I did travel at a younger age, it wasn’t until I was living on my own that I realized the impact that visiting new locations and sharing those experiences with others would have on me and my family and friends. For 14 years, part of my responsibilities at work was to visit clients in Europe, with the occasional trip to Africa. In addition, traveling with my sister has brought me to love cruising, which we have done in Europe, the Caribbean, and Alaska.

I have been able to instill the love of travel in my three grown children (2 girls and a boy), all of whom live nearby. I have organized trips for our family, as well as friends, and encouraged by all I decided to take the leap and make this my new career.

My favorite vacation would have to be a toss-up between a cruise to the Eastern Mediterranean for my 50th birthday or a land/cruise trip to Alaska – both with family and close friends. Watching my children experience Europe for the first time was amazing and helped them expand their love of travel. There are no other words for the cruise to Alaska but breathtaking. Not only were the views gorgeous, but the excursions were so much fun as well.
