Travel Advisor from North Hollywood, CA

Hello!

I’m Beth Dubber

I moved to Los Angeles in 2003 in hot pursuit of my dream of becoming an on set photographer. As I was getting my foot in the door, I became a travel coordinator which I discovered I had an aptitude for.
One of my most notable employers was The Ellen Degeneres Show. It kept me extraordinarily busy with logistics of car service, air travel, hotels, etc, for every celebrity guest, musical talent and anyone who was to appear on the program. I often communicated with managers, agents and assistants to communicate and accommodate special requests, however, I enjoyed when I was able to speak to guests directly. Not only was I booking travel, I was also a concierge of sorts in the “things to do and places to see” in the LA area. It was fun!
Previous to my career as a travel coordinator, I traversed the world solo. I love hearing new languages and trying to communicate with others when we don’t speak a common one. It’s amazing how we always figure out what we are trying to say to each other.

I had a wonderful experience living in a remote village in Bali, Indonesia where I stayed for a semester in college. There, I studied the language Bahasa Indonesia while honing my craft as a photographer. I engaged with the villagers to create environmental portraits during their rice harvest season. I also had the pleasure of traveling in Belize for 3 weeks, from the coastal beaches to intimate islands and the inland jungle, with some time in Guatemala to boot. I’ll undoubedtly never forget my 3 years in Germany, where I learned to speak the language and navigate the transportation system with ease all over Western Europe and bits of Eastern.

My wanderlust has led me to wonderful and unique places. I am grateful for all of my tremendous experiences I’ve had with people who have shown me new ways of living. These memories continue to inspire me, they keep me seeking and exploring the world as I continue in my home base of Los Angeles. As a mother of 2 young children, I realize how we become tied to our routines and agendas. It makes sense, we need routine for our kids, school, friends, social events, etc. However, when we break out of our lives for new adventures, the memories we create continue to endure. Our last big adventure was in Berlin Germany where we stayed for 5 weeks. We traveled daily, walked through the many parks, which seem to be everywhere, visited historical sites, museums, ate amazing food my picky eaters surprisingly loved and enjoyed the ease of ground transportation which made it all accessible.

What My Clients Have to Say

Amazing vacation and stellar planning from Beth!

I have to shout it from the rooftops—Beth is AMAZING!!! Seriously, if you’re thinking about planning a trip, *run* (don’t walk!) to Beth at Living With The Magic. She is an absolute lifesaver and a total dream to work with.

From the very first message, she was right there with me—answering every single question (and there were a lot), offering brilliant suggestions, and guiding me through every detail like the travel wizard she is.

I was planning a cruise for EIGHT family members—kids, adults, seniors, all with different needs—and somehow, Beth managed to make *everyone* happy. She found the perfect ship with waterslides and non-stop fun for the kids, amazing food and entertainment for the grownups, and an ADA room for my mom (who uses a wheelchair) that absolutely blew us away. It was spacious, comfortable, and gave her full freedom to enjoy every part of the cruise. We were so impressed!

And let me tell you—Beth’s tip to add “The Key” VIP package: LIFE-CHANGING. Priority boarding, exclusive perks, special seating—it made us feel like royalty and was so worth it. Beth, you nailed it!!

This whole experience could’ve been overwhelming, but Beth made it smooth, fun, and totally stress-free. We had the time of our lives and we are already counting down the days until we book our next adventure with Beth and Living With The Magic. THANK YOU, BETH!!! You’re the absolute best!!
