This excursion exceeded all expectations. Our crew, headed by Captain Charly, included Tito and Iris.
They went above and beyond making Cabo Adventures boat 15 the absolute BEST. Our shuttle driver
from the resort was on time and courteous, and our adventure was off to a great start. Upon arrival, the
staff was extremely welcoming and professional, and the facility was comfortable waiting for any of
the many excursions they offer.
Once onboard we received all the safety instructions. As we headed out into the harbor, we had drinks
and a snack box with the tastiest guacamole, chips, shrimp, and more. Each bento-style box is made for
two so be prepared to share. We motored out past the legendary Cabo Arch, as no trip to Cabo would
be complete without seeing where the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean meet.
As we headed to our snorkeling and activity spot, the crew was fun and personable, taking photos and
getting to know each passenger. Upon arrival at our snorkeling area, Captain Charly was informed there
was a family of humpback whales still in the area. And he quickly arrived at the whales’ location, and
we were treated to an amazing show by these gentle giants. Mom, Dad, and baby whale were
breaching, fin slapping, and just generally having their best day. We had not expected to see whales in
Cabo at this time of year, as they usually head north to Alaska by early April.
After seeing the whales, we returned to our snorkel area, and we spent time snorkeling, swimming, and
paddleboarding. The fish were plentiful, the water a beautiful, clear turquoise, and we even saw an eel!
On our way back to the marina, the wind picked up, which meant – WE GOT TO SAIL! Again, our expert
captain and crew prepared everyone for the experience, giving complete instructions and allowing
everyone on board to have the best experience. With the mainsail and jib opened up, we were cruising
back to the marina.
This experience was a highlight and core memory maker event. I cannot recommend Captain Charly, Tito
and Iris enough, and I am looking forward to a return visit to Cabo to sail with them again.
